Twilio, Inc. seeks Software Engineer (L3) in San Francisco, CA

Job Duties: Design and build a suite of storage and compute building blocks to form a strong foundation for a Customer Data Platform capable of processing billions of events per hour and beyond. Build systems to route customer data to Storage Destinations like Data Warehouses and Data Lakes. Enable efficient storage and management of customer data to power products like Segment Warehouses and Data Lakes. Provide a platform to accelerate Data Science and Machine Learning use-case on top of existing Data Warehouses and Data Lakes. Work with container orchestration frameworks to facilitate customer data deletion and suppression in compliance with regulations. Leverage experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems on top of cloud infrastructure to build highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems. Collaborate with teams across R&D to ensure services are multi-region compatible. Apply knowledge of high-scale web application architectural patterns and programming to build and ship services following a CI/CD development paradigm. Participate in on-call rotation to support business-critical infrastructure. Mentor other engineers on technical architecture and design. Telecommuting Permitted.

Minimum Requirements : Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in the field of software engineering

• Experience with container orchestration frameworks
• Technical leadership for solving complex programming tasks

Salary: $215,197 – $221,653 per year.
