Galois tackles the hardest problems in computer science, developing technology to guarantee the trustworthiness of systems where failure is unacceptable. While we are primarily an R&D company, our researchers innovations often have real-world applications, and are launched as spinout technologies, products, or even companies. This position will support our latest spinout: ExistX. As a Software Engineer with ExistX, you will design and develop advanced technologies for safety- and security-critical systems, networks, and applications. Engineers work in small team settings and must successfully interact with clients, partners, and other employees in a highly cooperative, collaborative, and intellectually challenging environment.

Key Qualifications

• Education Minimum of a BS in computer science or mathematics.
• Required Technical Expertise
  • Ability to write test documentation, including test plans, test procedures, and system requirements documents
  • Experience with functional testing, integration testing and system testing
  • Experience integrating test and quality assurance tools into CI/CD
  • Experience developing change requests and analyzing the impact of those changes across all operation environments
  • Ability to create and coordinate process improvements for the overall product development workflow
  • Experience deploying or integrating highly performant, scalable and reliable software systems for mission critical applications
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and techniques emerging from the R&D community

Location

This position will be full time, onsite and will be located in or around Annapolis, MD

Security and Citizenship Requirement

The employee must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.
