The Security Architect will be assisting the Sales and Marketing with current and future security customers and the strategic integration of Endpoint, Network, and Cloud solutions. This role will be a technical thought leader, capable of big picture thinking on a solution area/category, with substantive depth on a few core technical/solution elements. This individual will be a SME and bring technical credibility to accounts, presents solutions to customers and bring Pre-Sales and go-to-market support to strategic accounts. He/She will work closely with the Sales and Marketing for sales pursuits and pipeline growth.



Role Requirements:



You must also have in depth knowledge of the Security landscape and possess a deep understanding of competitive solutions as it relates to Endpoint, Network, and Cloud security solutions.



Responsibilities:




  • Deliver security solution presentations to customer management and executives

  • Assisting Practice Leader in defining and positioning the opportunity for Security solutions as it relates to the client strategy.

  • Helping to support the Development of Security offerings that uniquely differentiate the client in the marketplace

  • Provide qualification of designs or opportunities and produce technical architecture/design documentation.

  • Participate as key team member supporting client's Security Practice program and solutions offerings with the SME focus on network security, security management systems, threat and vulnerability programs and best practices.

  • Work with the sales team as a Security SME to advise clients on applicable security solution technology, practices, managed services and available solution programs

  • Assist the field sales teams with the development of security-related proposals and statement of work (SOW) proposals consistent with customers security objectives and requirements

  • To attend Customer opportunity / strategy meetings to understand and articulate business and technical strategy for the company and customer.


Qualifications:


  • 5-7 of experience in selling, architecting or implementing Security Solutions

  • Understanding of breadth of technology and adaptable to new technology advancements.

  • Strong Pre-sales Background

  • Self-starter mentality, and be able to manage expectations with a sales team and with customers

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of security industry, SOC techniques and managed security services

  • Strong technical knowledge with demonstrable hands on skill sets in the following security concepts: network segmentation, endpoint security, threat management, and cloud security.

  • Experience in developing end-to-end security architectures; Knowledge of the management and monitoring of security solutions; Advanced written and verbal communication skills; Able to communicate effectively with both a technical and executive audience

  • Strong knowledge at analyzing technology industry and market trends to determine potential impacts on business and opportunities.
