Sr React Developer

6 months to start (open to extend)

Remote anywhere in US

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the web team to assist in architecting a scaleable React application from scratch which includes:
  • Continuing work on a newly established GraphQL data layer
  • Strict adherence to Typescript
  • Documenting work / processes
  • Testing: E2E and unit
  • Making sure accessibility is at the forefront of UI development
• Knowledge sharing / mentorship
  • Willingness to receive and ask questions is key to this role
  • A passion for teaching and explaining how things work

Qualifications:

4-5 years of experience with the following is a must:

• Large-scale web applications built in React:
  • Best practices for architecting large/enterprise level React applications
• E2E testing (Cypress or Puppeteer)
• Unit testing (Jest)
• Typescript
• REST
• GraphQL
• Apollo
• Complex state management (Redux or similar, React Context and Hooks)
• Working in a mentor-type role

Experience with the following would be great:

• js
• Localization/multi-language web applications

• Storybook (UI development tool)
• Symfony/twig (php framework and templating language)
• GraphCMS (GraphQL based CMS)
• Phrase (translation management system formerly known as PhraseApp)
