A leading utility provider located in New York, NY is looking for a Sr. Software Developer for a 6-12 month contract.

Some onsite work is required throughout the life of the contract, and is likely to increase over time. Local candidates only

To be considered for this position, the client has advised that upon placement, consultants will be required to wear a mask under certain circumstances, show proof of full vaccination or submit on a weekly basis proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR diagnostic test


Requirements and skills

• Proficient with Linux, Python, Flask, Java, Git Repositories, Bootstrap, Kafka, JavaScript, Socket.IO, WebSocket, NodeJS, SQL Query Tools, SQL Developer, Shell scripting is a must


• XML, CSV, JSON, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Data Manipulation & transformation, Log file analysis, Microsoft Devops.

Responsibilities

• Our business is looking for a senior developer to join our development team so they can work together to create and enhance business tools for the web.


• The applicant must have previous experience converting existing independent applications and shell scripts into a consolidated Python Flask interface.
