We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to manage and oversee our company's financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant looking to contribute to the success of a thriving organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and record journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments as part of the month-end close process.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and reporting as needed.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and information.
• Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of best practices in accounting.
• Assist with year-end audit preparations and provide support to auditors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus.
  
  Compensation: $65K - $70K
