The Stage Manager role provides assistance for both Studio and Remote productions. 
They act as the Director's eyes and ears in the studio and on stage for remote productions, conveying precise instructions to both the talent and the technical crew. They are responsible for ensuring that all sets are in place and production positions are adequately staffed. 
The Stage Manager is also responsible for anticipating any issues that may arise during a production in the studio and addressing them promptly, informing the Director of any potential problems. 
They collaborate with the Technical Team to ensure that all performance areas are adequately maintained and prepared for the show. 
Additionally, they supervise the management and distribution of studio props.
 
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of live theatrical or live television stage management.
  • Candidates must be highly motivated, willing to work unusual hours and must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure to meet ever-changing deadlines.
  • Coordinate facilities, utilities, logistics, back of house, and general production including studio operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of live television production methods.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Communicate any rundown changes and how they may affect camera blocking and talent
  • Arranges the positioning of floor monitors based on talent locations
  • The ability to Identify and report issues with studios and production sta to the appropriate organizational unit; follows-up to ensure the resolution of identifed studio operation issues.
  • Ensures compliance of assigned tasks with established standard operating procedures.
  • The ability to anticipate, and troubleshoot, if necessary, problems that may arise in the studio
  • The ability to ensure talent needs are met in terms of equipment, including iPads, proper
  • Demonstrated capacity to work well in a team environment and individually with little
  • Participates in pre-production activities
  • Detail oriented and exceptional organization skills.
  • A passion for customer service and delivering exceptional results.
  • Expert knowledge of Apple products such as Keynote and Pages.
  • Complete mastery of OS X and iOS.
  • Be able to present and articulate ideas.
  • Experience in handling studio equipment a huge plus.
  • Ability to lift and push at least 25lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with executive presenters.
  • Working experience with theatrical and live television lighting.
  • Working experience with theatrical and live televisions audio.
  • Corporate environment experience.
