We are seeking full-time, temp-to hire Stand-Up Forklift Driver in Moody, AL for immediate hire. Our client is an established leader in the manufacturing industry. This is a 1st shift position that pays up to $10.50/hour(link removed) You will report to work between 5:00 AM and 3:30 PM.

Our client has been providing quality merchandising solutions nationwide for over 70 years. They work with many materials including sheet metal, wire and tube, as well as outsourced materials such as wood, injection molded, and vacuum formed plastic. Allowing them to provide custom merchandising solutions and multiple mediums from their domestic manufacturing plant.

A Stand-Up Forklift Driver for our team on this assignment will be asked to work in tight spaces safely to palatalize parts for display shelves.

The following is an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working at this position:

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft


• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility


• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions


• Checking loads are secure


• Stacking empty pallets


• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment

Job Requirements

• Previous experience driving a stand-up forklift.


• Good attendance record.


• Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time.


• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.


• Lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.


• Walk, stand, and/or sit for 10 – 12 hours.


• Grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance.


• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
