Currently, Avint is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Strategic Analyst Briefer to join our team!

The Strategic Analyst Briefer will work a day shift, to prepare for the following days briefing, Monday through Friday and will be embedded with the Executive Staff Unit (ESU) working out of the J. Edgar Hoover building in Washington, DC. The primary focus of the role is to develop the daily intel brief for the executive management of Cyber Division. The primary functions of this role are to efficiently gather daily intelligence from multiple internal and external sources, synthesize the reporting in terms of current and emerging cyber threats, actors, strategies, and overall threat environment, and develop and deliver the morning brief to executives. Although executivelevel briefs, they will be composed with sufficient detail to provide executives the strategic context to inform operational decisionmaking, ultimately supporting the integration of intelligence with Cyber Divisions operational mission.

Requirements

The requirements for this position are:

  1. A Bachelors degree in any major, a minimum of two years of intelligence analysis experiences within the [United States Intelligence Community (USIC)], and one of the following certifications
    1. EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
    1. EC Council Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI)
    2. Logical Operations Inc. CyberSec First Responder (CFR)
    3. CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
    4. CompTIA Cloud Plus (Cloud+)
    5. CompTIA PenTest+
    6. CompTIA Security+
    7. CompTIA Network+
    8. GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
    9. GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
    10. GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
    11. Cisco Cybersecurity Specialty Certification (SCYBER)
    12. Or an industry-recognized certification equivalent to any of the above, which must be justified by the vendor.

OR

2. A Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university, with a major in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or information systems.

In addition, the Strategic Analyst must also have all of the following:

  1. A minimum of three years of intelligence analysis work experience in the USIC, all of which supported offices whose primary focus was cyber threats to U.S. national security. (E.g., the Director of National Intelligences Cyber Threat Intelligence Center (CTIIC); the Central Intelligence Agencys Center for Cyber Intelligence (CCI); the National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force (NCIJTF).)
  2. At least one year of experience delivering technical, operational, or intelligence briefs at the executive/C-suite level.
  3. At least two years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite products, including MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Project.
  4. Strong editorial and grammar skills, demonstrated by at least one year of experience in copyediting, print publishing, or other formalized writing-heavy responsibilities.
  5. Strong interpersonal ability demonstrated by at least one year of experience working on a multi-disciplined team or within a team-environment.
