Position Overview

The Strategic Growth Initiatives Consultant is a critical member of the Solution Innovation team; and works across all levels of the organization.  He/she reports directly to the CTO with a dotted line to the EVP, Corporate Strategy & Marketing to provide holistic support of strategic growth and transformation across the organization. Additionally, this role supports the multi-year Scaled Agile Transformation using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum, & Kanban. This role has a unique purview and acts as a swiss army knife for the CTO and the EVP, Corporate Strategy & Marketing in support of a wide variety of critical long-term strategic initiatives.  The role includes supporting key sensitive and confidential efforts relating to strategic initiatives at the corporate and solution innovation levels, as well as other special projects needed by the CTO and EVP.    Successful candidate is a creative SAFe Agilist with a background in FinTech strategic business innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Strategy Committee with ideation & research to develop strategic initiatives


• Assist the Strategy Committee with business case development of strategic initiatives


• Transform strategies initiatives into tactical change management plans


• Drive change management & communication across the enterprise organization for strategic initiatives


• Drive special projects, as assigned by the Strategy Committee


• Facilitate workshops, design thinking, and info sessions internally and externally with the industry


• Assist with analyzing current state vs. future state Agile ways of working


• Drive the corporate annual cadence of events at the Strategy Committee, Portfolio, & Program levels


• Assist in facilitation of Agile ceremonies at the Program level


• Organize, lead, and help execute activities and company projects that may fall outside the scope of regular duties

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education (Master’s preferred)

• Preferred: 5+ years’ experience in ideating and driving large scale strategic initiatives


• Experience in stakeholder management and driving strategic alignment


• Excels at collaboration with senior level leaders and customer partners


• Experienced in working with sensitive and confidential information and is able to apply discretion in communications both internal and external to the organization


• Kanban, Agile, and/or SAFe experience  

• Ability to negotiate effectively


• Attention to detail. Ability to articulate a vision


• Embraces a Lean-Agile mindset and Lean-Agile Leadership
