WWC Global is seeking a Strategic Planning Consultant to support our contract with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with the Government to sustain and support existing long range, strategic goals for the OCFO organization.
  • Producing business plans and evaluating plans on a periodic basis with executives and business line managers.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of executives' and business line managers' needs to execute the multi-year OCFO strategic plan on an ongoing basis.
  • Coordinating with key stakeholders on strategic business plan process requirements, meetings, content development, system/tool related entry, setting meeting agendas and driving follow up action items.
  • Developing visual representations of data and relationships to convey key information succinctly and unambiguously to diverse audiences.
  • Executing the organizational strategy and priorities for life-cycle management and sustaining activities.
  • Developing and implementing metrics to measure performance and progress towards strategic goals, ensuring that strategic actions are completed at various levels to achieve desired results and communicating that progress to Government executives, business line managers, and the COR.
  • Supporting senior Government executives and business managers to engender an organization wide commitment to strategic clarity, ensuring all employees understand the details of an evolving strategic plan and how their work connects to the organization's goals.
  • Supporting the front office team in devising plans to meet unusual requirements or reacting to unanticipated changes.
  • Tracking assigned tasks and due dates by maintaining the tasking database and spreadsheets as applicable.
  • Reviewing incoming correspondences, publications, regulations, policies, and directives that may affect the CFO, DCFO or OCFO organization.
  • Drafting, formatting, and preparing in final form a variety of documents, correspondences, and briefings in support of the government PM and other senior leaders.
  • Composing standard operating procedures for a variety of activities as directed.
  • Composing technical reports, papers, articles, and other technical materials which involve the latest concepts and developments in the financial/budgeting field.
  • Assisting the Government in coordinating, preparing, and developing virtual and /or physical conferences, and activities including preparing agendas, compiling, and assembling background information for documents or final reports, on an as needed basis by the Government.
  • Supporting the logistics of multiple large virtual off-sites per year and compose summary notes.
  • Providing industry insights and best practices in strategic planning.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to work in confined areas.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

  • 0-10% / Minimal travel expected: offsites, meetings, training, a conference.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
  • 3+ years of relevant, professional experience including all of the following:
    • Direct experience supporting organizational strategic planning, in a Federal Government setting.
    • Demonstrated experience coordinating with high-level stakeholders.
    • Direct experience supporting senior government executives - Ability to present technical information in an oral presentation and written form.
  • Experience with one or the following: Workflow analysis, MS Visio, SharePoint applications.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DHS Suitability.
  • Master's Degree
  • Direct experience working on strategic planning in DHS or equivalent.
