RONIN STRATEGIST ROLE
The Ronin Society is an unconventional consulting firm established to help ambitious entrepreneurs navigate the challenges that come with growth and success. We specialize in the needs of Small Market businesses, defined as private companies with up to $10M USD in revenue. The Ronin approach is guided by data, but human-centric; we view entrepreneurship through the lens of adventure, see challenges as opportunities, value collaboration over competition, and believe in building lasting legacies rather than chasing short-term gains.
Our Strategists serve on client teams in an overarching strategic role as the finance mind on the leadership team. Strategists are supported by the Ronin Analyst team who assist with data & reporting, keeping financial models up to date, and number crunching to provide structure and insight that helps guide company growth initiatives.
Many Ronin Strategists have either owned their own businesses before or aspire to build something in the future. Our core clients are builders and often doing things theyve never done before. They operate in highly uncertain environments that require an extraordinary amount of leadership which they are often learning along the way. This environment requires a balance of confidence and humility, careful planning and improvisation, calculated risk and bold action. Ronin Strategists and Analysts work together using the Ronin process to implement our proven framework that helps client teams achieve their goals.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive Progress Move clients along the path through Foundations, Management, Growth
- Project Management Drive multiple tasks across multiple clients to completion
- Relationship Building Builds relationships with key players on client teams
- Info Gathering Make sure Analysts have access to the data they need
- Intangible Info Gathering Develop informal knowledge about client, share as needed
- Other Other related tasks and responsibilities as necessary

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong background in finance, accounting, or other relevant discipline preferred
- CFA charter holders and individuals with advanced degrees in finance or related fields are preferred
- Experience founding and/or running a business preferred
- Respect for entrepreneurs operating in the Small Market is a must
- Passion for coaching and developing others
- Eagerness to develop more advanced knowledge, skills and abilities

EARNINGS
Ronin Strategists earn a starting base salary commensurate with experience ranging from $70K $100K plus benefits. Experienced strategist can earn up to $150k+ including performance incentives.
