The Haven is looking for a LICENSED Substance Use Disorder Counselor and to join our team.  This position is crucial in our client’s recovery. 

 

• Appropriately assess client needs using the American Society of Addiction Medicine Patient Placement Criteria.


• Accurately document services using ASAM Dimensional Analysis format, including all required elements.


• Maintain compliance with any agency contracts, policies and employment guidelines


• Facilitate Substance Use Disorder counseling services, including individual counseling sessions with caseload, group therapy as assigned which may include behavioral groups.


• Attend all relevant staff and community meetings


• Complete thorough and effective assessments including treatment planning


• Other duties as assigned


• Actively utilize the treatment team for clinical support on caseload.
