Who You Are:

Figure8 is looking for a Supply Chain & Inventory Manager to support all activities related to select and purchase lines of products, manage inventory and finished goods and assist in all phases of our product roadmap. Our ideal candidate is a team player, organized, logical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a new role on our team, and you will thrive if you are well acquainted with setting up and scaling processes, detail oriented, proven experience in the field and are self motivated.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Work with the leadership team to determine the best logistics and 3PL vendors
  • Identifies the root cause of inventory discrepancies and creates and implements corrective action plans that may include systems, people and/or processes. This will include recommendations on a 3PL, inventory management system and a full roll out across 2023 for all locations.
  • Develops standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management accuracy.
  • Develops and implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting.
  • Works cross-functionally to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory and product capabilities, including recap reports.
  • Responsible for monthly physical inventory and regular inventory cycle counts.
  • Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choices, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices in partnership with manager.
  • Analyzes inventory variances and exception reports to monitor inventory data and procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of inventory.
  • Ensures integrity and compliance with all policies, control, procedures and standards including training and development programs.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of products and compliance with the contracts of purchase.
  • Develops and implements key performance metrics.
  • Implements quality audits that uncover root cause issues that are not being addressed by the team.
  • Identification, implementation, and company wide training of an Inventory Management System.
  • Oversee replenishment by SKU, maintaining an efficient inventory flow with set inventory turns and service level KPIs.
  • Drives warehouse productivity & process improvements to achieve cost savings.
  • Develops strategies to mitigate impact of volume surges & capacity constraints.

  • GMROI (Gross Margin Return on Investment)
  • Supply Chain to Sales cost (%)
  • PO Tracking
  • DSI (Day Sales of Inventory)
  • Passing EOY Inventory Audit

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 USD and is dependent on experience.

Requirements

The Necessities and Nice-to-Haves:

  • 5+ years of relevant supply chain, logistics, buyer and/or warehouse management experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent years of experience
  • A proven track record of driving efficiencies and cost savings
  • Demonstrated ability to make thoughtful, data-driven decision and achieve strategic goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Cross-functional leader who fosters collaboration and inspires trust throughout the team
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
  • Balances strategic thinking with execution
  • Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP MM)
  • User-experience minded, team player who is willing to take ownership of mistakes and celebrate the success of others
  • Experience with CRM tools like NetSuite, HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Developed or been a part of new E-Commerce Strategy
  • US citizen or have authorization to work in the US for 5 or more years
