Job duties:

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the supply chain process specifically related to non-perishable goods. This role involves managing the efficient flow of products from manufacturers and suppliers to the warehouse and franchise locations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, inventory management, and compliance with quality standards.
The Supply Chain Specialist will conduct the following duties:
Assist in the coordination of end-to-end supply chain processes for non-perishable products, from procurement to distribution. Collaborate with procurement teams to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely supplier deliveries. Assist in planning and scheduling transportation and distribution activities for non-perishable goods. Coordinate with logistics providers to track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and address any delivery issues. Support inventory control efforts by maintaining accurate records and tracking stock levels. Assist in implementing strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather demand forecasts for non-perishable goods. Assist in analyzing market trends and historical data to improve demand forecasting accuracy. Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations for non-perishable products. Process internal purchase orders and vendor invoices. Request and manage Certificate of Insurance, 3rd Party Audits, and HACCP forms. Develop and maintain tools to support supply chain processes, analysis, and reporting. Supervise, direct, and support the work of two supply chain associates abroad responsible for purchasing, inventory, management and logistics.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field plus two years of experience working with supply chain processes in the food industry.
