As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for working closely with exceptional team members within a robust department of Operating Room staff, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) staff, Day Surgery & Infusion staff, and many more.

LOOK AT THIS GREAT SCHEDULE:
10-hour shifts - Monday thru Thursday
The required call is one day/week and one weekend per month.
SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS
Evening Shift (3 pm 11:30 pm) = 8%
Night Shift (11:00 pm 7:30 am) = 11%
No Weekend Differential
Paid based on the majority of hours worked

Responsibilities:
- Functions as a member of the sterile team.
- Assists in readying room, opening supplies, performing surgical scrub, setting up back table, and preparing anticipated instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assists with draping and establishing a sterile field
- Anticipates needs and passes instruments, sutures, etc., according to need
- Assures a safe, sterile environment through the moral aseptic technique.
- Needle and sponge counts with circulating nurse.
- Shares on-call rotation with other staff members.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited course and Surgical Technician Certification (CST) is preferred during employment.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Ortho/Neuro & General Surgery Experience.
- Graduate of an accredited course with Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification is required within 6-months of employment.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of Surgical Technician experience to qualify for the Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance.
