RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Evaluate and execute assigned projects using sound engineering and technical principles
while adhering to good business practices and company procedures, as well as, product
and program requirements.
2. Execute and complete all aspects pertaining to assigned project including project
timelines, upper level assembly drawings, manufacturing drawings, bill of materials,
field/maintenance manuals, shop maintenance documentation, domestic and
international deployment kits, testing plans and reports, training, design reviews, and
design review packages.
3. Ensure that all statutory safety and environmental issues are adhered to along with the
Companys safety policies and procedures.
4. Conduct job planning simulations such as ImpactPro, WirePro or others as required by
operations.
5. Conduct failure analysis investigations to identify root cause of reported failures, following
standard First Alert Protocol and Procedures.
6. Prepare internal failure analysis reports, providing clear concise description of
investigation, analysis, and proposed corrective actions.
7. Present improvements and/or design changes to existing product line in the form of an
Engineering Project Proposal.
8. Provide technical support to operations, field service, and other engineering personnel as
requested.
9. Maintain thorough records of all work completed (engineering notebook).
10. Manage the EPDM system and document contents.
11. Maintain all certifications for traveling to land, offshore, and international rig locations.
12. Travel to land, offshore, and international rig locations, and ISI or customer facilities to
supervise and support the testing of prototype products.
13. Participate in the daily care of the facility, including office, shop, and workspace cleanliness.
14. Participate and assist in attaining an ISO approved Quality Assurance Program.
15. Participate in the training of personnel, recommend training requirements to management
team; monitor the effectiveness of training given; stay suitably informed and trained in all
areas that the position requires.
