Job Description

Engineering Graduate with 5-8 years of experience in ACS/CCTV/BMS Design, Quantity Estimation & Design Review for the Airport Project.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate Having Minimum 5-8 years previous experience in a Security system design role.
• Candidate shall have a deep knowledge of the Airport security systems CCTV, ACS & Intrusion system.
• Candidate shall have an understanding on the BCAS Guidelines.
• Demonstrate a general knowledge of all Security Systems and major OEMs Products.
• Knowledge of IP Systems / Networking is preferable along with Knowledge of the available Intruder Alarms, Access control, CCTV range of OEM/Equipments.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Understanding of the various design stage documentation and timeliness of submission of same.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Review the Airport security and ELV system vendors /OEMs submissions as per scope & specifications.
• Prepare the submission to client, review the Shop Drawings
• Effective Communication skills: Able to adapt communication to audience and create detailed written documents and reports as per Standards.
• Work with vendor and client SME teams to deliver the most suitable solutions.
• Ensure that vendors design quantity doesnt cross the GFC quantity.
• Analyzing the security/ELV systems design to determine how well they meet the technical requirement, identifying potential problems of proposed technologies or system, so that solutions can be implemented before problems arise.
• Recommending hardware and software solutions based on clients specific needs.
• Creating diagrams of computer network topologies that show how devices are connected.
• Engineering Performance and progress reporting.
• Value engineering and Material/ Cost savings. VO estimation and cost analysis.
• Proactively work with Risk assessment and Mitigation plan, System design and Engineering.
• Coordination with Client & Internal Project team to meet the deliverables.
• Candidate shall be the SPOC for security & ELV systems to discuss, explain, review the design documents with client and get client approval.
