Short Description:
Strong Senior Level JAVA Developer with experience updating Enterprise Level applications. 5 Years experience with JAVA 8 Required. Minimum of 8 years of JAVA development experience.

Complete Description:

Candidate will work with developers currently maintaining the application to understand the application and then be responsible for updating the application to JAVA 8 and providing maintenance, modifications and upgrades.

This is a joint effort with client to upgrade an important / complex application.

Under general supervision, programmers will need to develop/code/test a new application in JAVA on the technical and business requirement provided by the State along with the system architect workflow design. In addition, programmer will need to know JAVA to integrate JAVA store procedures.

Programmer will perform application programming work of considerable difficulty involving the most complex system analysis and application programming work of considerable difficulty requiring user contact and the modification and design of computer systems. The Contractor Programmer will need to meet with users to validate requirements provided by the State and be able to get additional requirements if needed, and be responsible to document requirements and design if changes are made.

Skills:
Programming using JAVA version 8 Required 5 Years
Experience using Swing is required Required 3 Years
Experience creating web services Required 5 Years
Experience using SQL Required 3 Years
Experience using an Oracle Database preferably v.12 Required 3 Years
Experience with J Developer or similar IDE Required 3 Years
Overall JAVA Development Experience Required 8 Years
Experience updating enterprise level applications Required 5 Years
Experience as a Development Lead Desired 3 Years
