SUMMARY
The Systems Administrator is responsible for keeping all servers, workstations, and the entire network infrastructure in good working order. The IT Manager will also ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements (ITAR, NIST, etc.)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains all Servers and Workstations and keeps in good working order
- Ensures compliance to regulatory requirements
- Ensures security measures are functional and up to date
- Advises on the need for new equipment (servers, phones, workstations, etc.)
- Responsible for developing and insuring compliance with internal policies
- Plans, assigns, coordinates and manages the support, dispatching, and scheduling of staff and functions.
- Develops, implements and evaluates plans, policies, and procedures to achieve department goals, objectives, and productivity standards.
- Operates the department within the approved staffing and expense budgets in accordance with the Predetermined Profit Plan.
- Prepares a variety of reports as defined for the analysis of productivity and profitability.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- B.S. degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience as a Network Administrator.

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE (KPI’S)
This position will be evaluated against the following criteria:
- Average time tickets are open
- Number of open tickets
- Overall budget utilization
- Amount of company down time (phones, computers, etc.)
