The Systems Engineer II performs system engineering work in the areas of requirements management, system analysis, use case development, and system interface design for projects relating to operating systems, communications software, database software or other software systems utilized by the Company. This position is a systems contributor with experience in Life-Cycle development. This individual must demonstrate the willingness to quickly learn and grow in technical expertise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate customer needs into requirements for the system
• Design sub-system components
• Create and maintain Use Cases and requirement documents
• Analyze and verify design meets requirements
• Design and verify sub-system interfaces
• Participate in creation and presentation of design reviews both internal and customer focused
• The application of systems analysis techniques and procedures
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Provide guidance to fellow team members

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
• Experience with Requirements Management Tools, such as Doors
• Experience with product integration
• Knowledge of programming languages (C++, Java, and/or Python)
• Experience with systems/network architecture design and maintenance

• 3-6 years of experience working in a similar role

Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $85,000 to $113,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
