Merit Technologies is looking for a full-time Level I Engineer to join our team. Individuals in this position are required to provide proactive, remote and onsite engineering support to clients as needed. Merit Technologies is a Managed Service Provider located in Greenville, SC. We support a wide variety of technologies and clients. Since 2009, we have worked hard to provide efficient, productive, and profitable IT solutions for businesses to help them be more efficient. We work as partners to our clients offering RMM, managed services, CIO services, VOIP, security, SaaS development, and disaster recovery. Note: Merit Technologies does NOT mandate vaccines
Requirements
Offering technical support on-site or via phone or email
Troubleshooting a variety of computer/server/network issues
Maintaining, repairing, moving, or carrying computer equipment
Configuring computer networks all while adhering to all company standards and policies.
This job does include local travel in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson metropolitan area.
An experienced professional with a full understanding of Information Technology
Well-developed troubleshooting skills and tested methodologies
Experienced in analyzing complex issues, distilling and communicating their relevant aspects
Ability and desire to be part of a team
Flexibility with a positive attitude
Strong problem-solving abilities and experience
Sound time management and task management
Knowledge of Office 365 including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
Knowledge of Apple Mac Operating Systems and management
Knowledge of Windows 10 Operating System and management
Education and Experience
Experience: 2+ yrs in the IT field required
Language: English. Spanish is a plus
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Field of Study: Engineering or related field
A combination of education and experience is acceptable: Yes
Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
Ability to prioritize with good time management skills
