This role is hybrid (Tue, Web & Thurs on-site) for candidates in Kansas City area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of Kansas City area but within the US.Remote is ok. Systems Engineer As a MECM/SCCM/SCOM Systems Engineer, you will be supporting our Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) / System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environments. This also includes patch management, SCCM upgrades and changes, software packaging and distribution, and automation. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which involves other multiple initiatives as assigned by IT leadership. How youll spend your time: Support the MECM/SCCM environment including, but not limited to: Creating static and dynamic collections Composing queries Creating application packages and diver packages Creating, maintaining, and updating Task Sequences including adding new models to Task Sequence for bare metal OS and applications deployment Creating and configurating configuration items and client settings. Manage SCCM policies, standards, and documentation. Lead and plan upgrades, changes, or implementations for SCCM adhering to organizational change control processes and procedures. Deploy and package patches along with compliance reporting for servers and workstations at an enterprise scale. Creating and maintaining reports/documentation for hardware, software, and service inventories for management reports. Create and implement recommended policies for Windows devices including troubleshooting issues with deployment and operation of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Endpoint Protection policies. Create and troubleshoot Windows firewall policies for application access. Windows Operating system Support (2016, 2019. 2022) Weekly On Call rotation (24x7x365 for the team) about every 7 week System Center Operations Manager Experience with virtualization technologies (vmware) Cloud Distribution Point Microsoft Defender support and configuration Were excited to talk with you if: You have at least 5 years of experience in an IT infrastructure environment. You have at least 5 years of in-depth MECM/SCCM experience. SCOM 2 years. You have strong experience with Microsoft SCCM/Intune Co-Management, Autopilot, and Cloud Management Gateway. You have solid patch management experience. You have strong Powershell and automation experience. You have thorough understanding of enterprise data center technologies such as servers, networking, data security, TCP/IP, and SAN. You have in-depth experience with physical data center best practices to resolve hardware/software interface and interoperability problems including administering and supporting technical operating systems. You have working knowledge of ServiceNow. You experience integrating other tools into MECM/SCCM using WSUS, Bitlocker, and third-part tools.
