- Able to iterate through technology changes to deliver high performing, reliable, and best in-in-class solutions for internal and external users.
- Work with teams including Systems, Project, InfoSec, and other departments to complete technology projects that align with the needs of the medical enterprise.
- Deliver outstanding improvements in performance, reliability, security, and uptime to MFA's IT environment.
- Contribute to an engineering culture around sound architecture design and documentation practices.
- Provide expert design and implementation experience with hybrid and cloud infrastructure operating models to help with future datacenter & cloud migration planning.
- Contribute to technical/strategic expertise to the enterprise's technology roadmap, helping with both large and small scale assigned projects to successfully implement developed technologies into production.
- Provide design and support expertise for System infrastructure design and support.
- Possess expert level knowledge of infrastructure and network concepts, including specific platforms including but not limited to WS, Azure, on-premises Active Directory, O365, VMware, and VMC on AWS.
- Familiar with Common Infrastructure management applications (monitoring, patching, etc.)
- Support the installation & maintenance of server infrastructure in datacenter and cloud environments.
- Able to make intelligent design decisions when network design is involved.
- Work with partners as well as other IS&T/business units to methodically identify incidents/problems of existing Infrastructure services and provide ownership and direction to resolution.
- Help create and maintain a knowledgebase with common problems and resolutions, as well as all documentation around system configuration contributing to the IT infrastructure units to drive SLA maturity/efficiency.
- Experience working with hybrid cloud environments managing storage and compute.
- Highly experienced in scripting languages such as Powershell.

Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field or 5 years of industry equivalent experience
MCSE/MCSA Certification or equivalent is a plus
CCNA or CCNP is a plus
Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus
PMP certification a plus
Experience Minimum five years of experience in a Systems Engineering role
Minimum five years of experience supporting VMware Horizon Infrastructure & ESXI
Minimum five years of experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory & Windows-based Server Operating Systems
Minimum three years of experience with support Azure Active Directory
Minimum three years of experience supporting VMware ESXI & Horizon Infrastructure
Minimum three years of scripting and programming experience (Powershell, Windows Batch, Linux BASH, Python, Java, VB, etc.)
Strong Storage Area Network Experience
Strong knowledge of network administration fundamentals (CCNA level or equivalent)
Strong experience with cloud migrations & hybrid infrastructure preferred
Linux experience preferred
Experience with project management preferred
Experience with Office 365 preferred
Some experience with databases and administration preferred
Experience troubleshooting technical hardware and software issues in systems, applications, network, and security capacity.
Experience with Healthcare IT strongly preferred
Experience working with Epic in a Healthcare IT environment is strongly preferred
Strong writing skills
