Systems Engineer

• Proficient - Active Directory / GPO / DNS / DHCP
• Proficient - VMware 6.7 or 6.5
• Proficient - Windows system administration on 2019/2016/2012/2008
• Proficient - PowerShell scripting
• Day to Day responsibilities include:
• Handling tickets coming to Queue for activities like;
• Update DNS, Update DHCP
• Modify file permissions
• Create Service Accounts
• Create Groups in active directory
• Server decommission
• Server Build
• Server cloning
• Installing agents like Antivirus, Patch Management software, Security & Analysis software etc.
• Update the Vmware templates on a monthly basis with the latest patches.
• Perform restore of files on certain windows systems that are critical for the business.
• Troubleshoot various OS issues on windows systems
• Add new disk on windows systems, Expand disk
• Add / Remove CPU and memory on systems
• Work on projects as needed
• Participate in maintenance activities during nights and weekends as needed ( EST time)

Plus

• Any CISCO UCS experience is considered a huge bonus
