Sigma Defense is looking for a Navy Veteran with BMD Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) and Joint Tactical Terminal-Maritime (JTT-M) technician experience to join the Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) team as an IBS/JTT Subject Matter Expert in San Diego, CA.
The ideal candidate for this role must have a TS/SCI clearance and 6 years of experience as a qualified JTT technician/operator. You will be joining an incredible team that is tasked with a meaningful mission!
We need the rare skill set in training configuration, operation, maintenance, and management that you have developed through your Naval Careers to assist the TTPG team in executing its mission of providing tactical training to ships in the basic phase through Fleet Synthetic Training (FST). Be on the cutting edge of Live Virtual Training and make a difference to our Navy's capability at the same time.
Requirements
- Candidate must be a citizen of the United States.
- 6 years' experience configuring and operating or maintaining the AN/USQ-151 Joint Tactical Terminal-Maritime (JTT-M)
- Recent experience configuring and operating Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) services and its related infrastructure.
- Qualified as an IBS producer.
- Recent instructor/trainer or operational experience serving aboard a BMD configured AEGIS ship or at a BMD command/agency.
- Completed BMD deployment certification training.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience using AN/CYZ-10 and AN/PYQ-10 (SKL) crypto loading devices.
- Experience in reviewing naval drawings, networking, hardware, and have software knowledge.
- Service desk experience providing distance support as well as field experience testing and training system use.
- Familiarity and experience troubleshooting the AN/USQ-151 interface to Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Versions 3.6.1, 4.0.1, and 5.0.1 (for BMD platforms installs only).
- Familiarity and experience troubleshooting AN/USQ-151 interfaces with shipboard UHF SATCOM.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess an active, DoD-issued TS/SCI security clearance.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually.
