On a Day to day basis you will:




  • Act as Talent advisor providing insight, guidance and solutions to the teams hiring needs

  • Asses team recruiting activity by using data to influence recruiting strategy as well as ensuring that the metrics are tracking the activity that produces results

  • Act as a "player coach" Sourcing and recruiting high caliber talent as well as leading the team through management, mentorship, motivation and metrics

  • Prioritize team workload  to ensure positions are getting filled within defined corporate performance metrics

  • Recruit across the companies business lines -  funded contract positions, best athlete recruiting, bid and proposal recruiting, recruiting for corporate positions

  • Develop a pipeline of candidates for the company’s most critical positions

  • Lead intake meetings with team and Hiring Managers while documenting job duties, job responsibilities, and required/desired skills

  • Think creatively and develop strategies to attract candidates via new sourcing techniques including a variety of internal and external sources, referrals, hiring events to find the best qualified candidates

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, program managers and HQ staff to create a recruiting partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility

  • Keep current on industry trends, innovative recruiting techniques, employment and job seeker landscape especially local/regional trends and recruiting best practices to effectively recruit in a competitive IT marketplace

  • Utilize company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) on a daily basis to keep track of candidates, communication, and recruiting status ensuring ATS is kept current and accurate at all times

  • Ability to quickly learn systems, processes and procedures and quickly assimilate technical information and build solutions to optimally balance meeting business needs, beating competitors to qualified candidates and operating within financial resource constraints

  • Schedule, prepare for and attend Job/Career Fairs regularly throughout the year

  • Provide comprehensive recruiting status updates and reporting to supervisor and senior leadership to provide complete picture of open positions, filled positions, staffing issues and roadblocks and suggestions / recommendations for process improvement



 


 

Skills Required:




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field

  • 5+ years experience supporting recruiting for a Federal contractor with a keen understanding of Government contracting terminology

  • 5+ years experience providing full life cycle recruiting for positions that require DoD security clearances of all levels preferably in the military, DoD and Intelligence Community

  • Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases to include top industry job boards (Clearance, strong boolean search capability, adept at recruiting via social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)

  • Strong experience and understanding of infrastructure and/or technology-based recruiting

  • Experience with use of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to include reporting, automated workflow processing, etc

  • Experience writing compelling job descriptions and job requisitions

  • Must have experience handling high requisition loads with multiple managers in multiple locations

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a complex range of positions, ability to function / recruit on a national, international, and multi-location level

  • Experience partnering with managers to establish staffing plans in anticipation of new business

  • Experience with full life cycle recruiting components including but not limited to: sourcing, assessing and qualifying candidates, networking, legal / compliance, job analysis, wage and salary trends and relationship management

  • Proven ability to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

  • Ability to travel 5% - 10% for recruiting / hiring / onboarding events, as needed



 



 



Desired Skills / Experience:




  • Certifications and/or training in the field (such as AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.)

  • Experience with the set up and administration of ATS system workflows and reporting,

  • Deltek Applicant Tracking System experience preferred

  • Active DoD clearance is a plus
