FLO is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Team to perform full-cycle recruitment. As an early-stage global business, we are now ready to further expand ad strengthen our talent acquisition capabilities. We are looking for an experienced, collaborative Talent Acquisition (TA) professional with sourcing experience for our Auburn Hills, MI facility.

THE FOCUS IS YOU

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Senior Manager, the Talent Acquisition Partner will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging top talent through advanced recruiting technology, strategic sourcing, campus and community events, and compelling marketing campaigns.

We are looking for someone who will enjoy being part of the build out of a new Talent Acquisition function, creating & designing as we also deliver on searches. The ideal candidate wants to be part of a team where we do it ourselves, in this roll up your sleeves environment. Our hiring managers have accountability for identifying & attracting talent and filling their open roles. Its a terrific opportunity to shape the future of TA in the booming EV industry!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Recruiting and Sourcing

  • Perform full lifecycle recruitment, including sourcing strategies to identify candidates, networking, screening and assessing candidate fit, interviewing and interfacing with candidates;
  • Build pipelines of candidates and maintain relationships with prospective candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs;
  • Provide guidance, coach and influence hiring managers on recruiting best practices, market trends and delivering competitive job offers to candidates;
  • Recruit for all roles in the US, including but not limited to sales, engineering and manufacturing operations;
  • Collaborate with hiring managers on understanding the hiring needs, skills and capabilities;
  • May have accountability for special ad hoc projects and initiatives to support business needs.

Community Outreach and Development

  • Identify key stakeholders and groups in each community including city council members, regional school district, non-profits, associations, employment, etc.
  • Design & implement community networking strategies with TA members to develop our local footprint and expand our employer brand;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to manage competitive recruitment campaigns including online advertising, brochures, social media, job fairs and other recruitment activities;
  • Attend relevant staffing events to network with potential candidates.

Onboarding New Hires

  • Initiate new hire documents and assist with welcoming new hires;
  • Serve as point of contact prior to first day of employment and first 30 days of employee tenure.

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • Expert use of Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter including the skills to manage pipelines and create sophisticated search parameters using Boolean search strings;
  • Self-starter with strong business acumen, not afraid to challenge the status quo and come up with innovative approaches for our recruitment/selection process;
  • Relationship-building extraordinaire with demonstrated ability to understand local community dynamics and effectively network within the community to accomplish recruiting goals;
  • Demonstrated flexibility in a hybrid work model that combines remote and in-office work (minimum 3 days a week at our Auburn Hills facility).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Preferred Education: A qualified individual would have a Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination.
  • Required Experience: Minimum 5 years of current experience in recruitment or staffing, including full-cycle recruitment is a must.
  • Masterful Communication: Excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals and leaders.
  • Secret Ingredient: Sourcing experience for multiple disciplines combined, including technical roles.
  • HR Marketing Enthusiast: Proficient with social media related to sourcing and creating & marketing of compelling job postings.
  • Goal-driven: Desire to collaborate with a fast-paced, strategic team, who is continuously improving their systems to ensure an amazing candidate experience.
  • Multitask Aficionado: Ability to organize and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • DEI Expert: Demonstrated commitment, expertise, and knowledge in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion space.
  • Globetrotter: Willingness to travel to Canada for team-building activities with other team members.
