Our firm is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Remote), this position is located in Houston, TX.

Role

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter provides a strategic approach and innovative techniques to support the full life cycle of recruiting for one or more of Oil & Gas, and Energy. The ideal candidate will serve in a critical role as part of a dynamic team ensuring the best possible talent is hired through a variety of sourcing resources, existing networks, and proven processes and practices.

This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the state of Texas.

Additional Locations: Dallas, TX - Austin, TX - San Antonio, TX - McAllen, TX Houston, TX.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Execute full life-cycle recruitment including, sourcing (proactive networking, internet searching, cold calling, resume mining, database searching etc.), pre-screening interviews, evaluating, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, facilitating feedback sessions, advising managers on offer components, extending, and negotiating offers, and monitoring the onboarding process.
  • Build and maintain excellent client relationships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners by acting as a recruiting consultant, solving problems, and providing proactive and consistent communications.
  • Meet and exceed key performance metrics including time to fill, quality of hire, offer-to-acceptance ratio, and diversity of final slate.
  • Collaborates and advises hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process, including hiring strategies, recruitment cycle timing, coaching, and guidance on best practices and sourcing trends.
  • Employ various methods of sourcing including direct and social media recruiting to further develop, promote, and maintain a proactive, cost-effective recruiting strategy.
  • Utilize alternative sourcing channels, stay current on industry trends and practice strong recruitment techniques.
  • Use proactive methods to network with industry experts and professional industry-related associations, to build ongoing passive candidate networks and candidate pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws by accurately documenting all recruitment activities in the ATS.
  • Evaluate recruitment processes to identify inefficiencies and make recommendations for process improvement.
  • Ensure candidates have a positive experience by providing timely and professional communications, providing feedback, and addressing concerns.
  • Abide by Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Should have 2-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
    • Fully Bilingual in Spanish / English.

    • Should have experience utilizing and leveraging social media for recruiting and sourcing efforts.
    • Should have knowledge of EEOC, State & Federal Labor laws, including FLSA etc.
    • Should have experience building strong business relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Strong written/verbal communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, and the ability to make cold calls.
    • Ability to work in stressful situations and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must have a sense of urgency, be self-driven, have leadership skills, be a team player, strong relationship builder, and influencer.
    • Ability to suggest and implement improvements and be a positive influence within the organization.
    • Experience working with geographically dispersed, virtual teams, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Experience working for a consulting services firm (preferably in O&G, Aerospace, or Energy industry)
