• Applying the federal, state, and local tax laws to benefit our clients while minimizing their tax obligations
• Reviewing client companies' accounts payables data and using tax accruals to determine where sales and to use tax is paid
• Analyzing sales and using tax payments for refund opportunities
• Developing appeals schedules and documenting the transactions for a requested refund
• Developing appeals and representing clients at administrative levels such as the PA Board of Appeals and Board of Finance and Revenue
• Elevating appeals and engaging in settlement negotiations as necessary with the Office of Attorney General

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate Degree
• Undergraduate Degree and training in Accounting or a related field is preferred!
• Strong professional ethics/integrity/reliability
• Dedication to providing and ensuring exceptional client services
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Superior understanding of the Internal Revenue Code, tax laws of the Commonwealth of PA, and local jurisdictions and adjoining states
• The immediate ability to work in the United States
