Job Summary
We are a client-focused accounting and advisory firm seeking a Tax Manager Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage and review tax preparation and research with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Managing workflow and review of tax returns
- Preparing and reviewing complex and multi-state tax returns
- Responding to notices from tax authorities
- Reviewing client tax information and addressing questions
- Identifying tax issues and making recommendations
- Supervising and assisting tax staff
- 5+ years public accounting experience
- CPA certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience managing multiple client engagements
- Tax return preparation and planning expertise
- Supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software
