We are seeking qualified and experienced part-time applicants, who can tutor elementary, middle and high school students in Math and English. Tutoring will take place at the student's homes in the following areas: Crofton, Gambrills and Odenton, MD (21113, 21114 AND 21054)(link removed) Applicants need to have reliable transportation and be within a 20 minute commute of these zip codes.



 

Qualifications

• Teaching certificate and/or college degree


• Excellent communication skills and a friendly personality


• Available to tutor for 6 months or more


• Available to tutor after school and/or weekends


• Willingness to tutor in a student's home


• Reliable transportation


• Experience preparing students to take the SAT and/or ACT highly desirable


• Ability to tutor groups of students a plus
