JOB SUMMARY

Assists in the coordination of management activities and provides leadership which facilitates the coordination and delivery of care for the Endoscopy Department. Supervises assigned employees and oversees area daily operations, programs, and activities consistent with Department Leadership's direction. Exercises management responsibilities as delegated by Department Manager.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

REQUIRED LICENSE

RN must have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing or Compact State as defined by NC Board of Nursing. BCLS

CGRN Certification Preferred

Must have Relief Charge, Board Runner, Charge Nurse experience in an acute care setting

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 

 2 years in Endoscopy/Procedural setting, 2 years of supervisory experience

2 years if PACU experience

Shifts: 0630,0700,07300 with limited call for up to one year
