Position Summary:
Assists the Supervisor in the daily operations of the Department. Leads operations in the absence of the Supervisor.
Overall Responsibilities:
Monitor and assign daily work to all subordinates.
Oversee daily operations and end of shift reports
Follow up on issues as needed
Work with local team to identify areas of improvement and report daily efficiency
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
Be flexible with shift hours as needed in 4th QTR
Follow and maintain 7s Program and guidelines
Performs other related duties as assigned
Other Responsibilities:
Ensure proper training of new employees for picking and shipping departments
Performance management of all employees
Document, update and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed
Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department
Maintain conveyors continued flow of product to designated areas
Update and maintain Kronos and Metrics in excel, as it relates to WMS reporting
Monitor picking and shipping functions on the floor
Requirements
SAP and /or WMS environment preferred
Computer literacy applied
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team player: reliable, dependable, responsible, and able to fulfill obligations
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Analytical skills
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Must be able to lift/push./pull up to 50 lbs.
Able to stand/walk for long periods of time
Light manufacturing facility
Noise from working in a production area
