Position Description
The Tech Director will coordinate all AVL pertaining to weekend services, mid-week worship team practices, special events, installs, and funerals/weddings. They will focus on building a team to help carry out technical areas including raising up leaders who can also recruit and build their teams.
Responsibilities
Oversee all technical elements related to AVL on campus
Serve as point FOH audio person for services and events or train individuals who can be
Actively recruit for AVL areas and raise up team leaders who will also recruit
Work with point AVL team leaders on helping grow their areas both spiritually and technologically
Work with other volunteers and staff to oversee all details related to broadcast mix
Keep inventory on current equipment
Explore training opportunities for volunteers and team leaders
Work in conjunction with visual arts ministry regarding stage design
Work with Worship Arts Pastor to plan and oversee annual AVL budget
Expectations
Previous live worship mixing experience related to AVL areas
View the position as a ministry to reach people for Christ
Enjoy being on a team and working with different generations
Meet on a regular basis with Worship Arts Pastor
Quick to respond to emails, phone calls, and follow-up as needed
Either be a member of Tri-Village or willing to place membership upon hire
