Fastly, Inc. seeks Technical Account Manager in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Develop technical relationship with customers to build a deeper understanding of their team, infrastructure, plans and problems they encounter. Post sales implementation of products, such as logging endpoints, image optimization and VCL coding while documenting key aspects of the customer's configuration for troubleshooting and engagement. Investigate and recommend improvements to customers implementation and utilization of company's technology stack. Partner internally to create customer strategies and assist in support requests or problems for assigned customers. Track and report on the health of customer accounts, providing regular updates to Client Services leadership. Supporting networks including BGP, internet routing and the difference between transit and peering. Telecommuting and remote employment permitted. Salary: $163,200 to $187,680.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a technical manager-related or application engineer-related position.
Special Skill Requirements: at least one (1) year of experience in each of the following skills: 1. HTTP Request and Response cycle; 2. DNS, TCP/IP, Anycast, and SSL or TLS; 3. Internet technologies and internet architectures; 4. Linux/Unix and Windows operating system; 5. Logging and Analytics tools such as Grafana, Looker, Splunk, Logz.io; 6. Proxy servers; and 7. Github. Telecommuting and remote employment permitted.
