Technical Department Manager Acquisition Control Software
Join Philips as a Technical Department Manager Acquisition Control Software in the Imaging Chain Cluster, where you'll be responsible for the talent management, way of working and output of the team. You will lead and develop the teams within the allocated budget, on time and with the highest level of quality. The work is based on a product and technology roadmap, covering studies, new product introductions, product maintenance activities and advanced field support. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, influence product development, and collaborate within a dynamic cross-functional team.
Your Role:
As the Technical Department Manager, you will lead the software department of approximately 15 engineers located in Best and define the group composition including required proficiencies, resources and skills. Ensure successful introduction and sustaining of high quality, serviceable, and reliable products. Process owner for Software Development processes and templates. Define and implements process improvement activities. Handle relationships with external partners like suppliers and customers, and internal partners like Innovation, Operations, Customer Services, Procurement and Marketing. You're the Right Fit If:
MSc/PhD in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years of technical software development and demonstrated ability in People & Project management with strong communication skills. Very experienced with Healthcare Regulatory aspects (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, IEC60601, ISO13485, ISO14971), effective communication skills and a continuous improvement attitude. Strong understanding of healthcare products, interoperability standards (DiCOM, FHIR), and experience in Windows, Linux, firmware and hardware. Experience in testing and quality assurance is considered a plus. Leader through example
