Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an technical editor.
The responsibilities of the technical editor include reviewing the work of the technical writers.
There is potential for authoring articles, designing templates and graphics, developing training manuals, and maintaining our online technical content.

Responsibilities:

Review written technical agronomy documents for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, content, and style.
Make any necessary corrections to technical agronomy documents or collaborate with technical writers to make changes as needed.
Work with researchers and developers to ensure document accuracy.
Ensure that all written content meets our company's standards.
Develop, communicate, and adhere to goals for content, workflow, and aim of writing.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, agriculture, or another related field.

In-depth knowledge of technical agronomy concepts.

Excellent computer and word processing skills.

Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and page composition skills.

Ability to evaluate and edit the content, structure, and format of a range of written material.

Self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
