Hands-on Project execution experience on manufacturing plant including Making and utilities system operations. Candidates with a good breadth of experience, and most importantly proven site Engineer to effectively interface with the CUSTOMER team and to offshore team, from engineering studies, through design basis and Engineering Package, through engineering construction and startup support and VAT/SAT/Validation authoring and execution. Skills: Making Processing and Facilities experience including maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization. Able to develop 2D and 3D Model, good understanding of Process Piping Able to Develop Layout and options Troubleshoot new and existing system problems involving designs, materials and processes and provide creative, timely, and cost-effective solutions. Establish standards and guidelines for supplier evaluation. Evaluate and select suppliers/vendors; periodically conduct vendor and Specify and recommend efficiency tools and test methods to develop and validate designs. Work with the manufacturing department to ensure that the designs are optimized for manufacturability. Strong work ethic and initiative; can plan and execute work with minimal direction. Works well with peers and 'customers'; collaborative and responsive. Represent the company in the development, review, and execution of engineering information for construction. Obtain concurrence of the plant customers. Ensure plant change management systems are followed. Represent the company in the contracting and monitoring of construction activities. Communicate plant requirements and monitor all contractors ensuring plant procedures are followed. Coordinate and schedule construction activities and coordinate with plant operations. Role & Responsibilities: 1. Manufacturing coverage - Oversee and manage complete project as technical leader for Making and Utilities development process.
- Execute approved process or equipment changes, optimizations, and upgrades.
- System ownership (as needed) for a piece of equipment or technology area.
- Breakdown elimination work.
2. Project work (as needed) - Participation in design reviews and installation requirements.
- Participation in equipment installation and start-up.
- Participation in commissioning, qualification, and validation activities and construction support
3. Safety - Familiar with CUSTOMER safety Compliance practices.
- Compliance with all other Greensboro site safe practices.
