The Technical Product Owner will be part of product team and will own and extend companys energy market technology capabilities. They will work with cross functional stakeholders and SMEs to ensure
This individual will work closely with product engineering and product management teams, and cross-functional team members to define the roadmap and execute on the delivery of ISO/Utility integration capabilities. They also will be responsible for information dissemination within the company, and stakeholder management regarding these capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to act as primary contributor to the product roadmap for product and feature delivery related to Utility and ISO integration.
Own and prioritize technical product backlog in development of companys Utility and ISO integration, supporting products that meet and exceed customer requirements and respond to energy transition needs.
Assess and address technical risks and delivery risks to ensure timely delivery of products and features.
Participate in agile processes and ceremonies within the team, and follow high standards for automation, quality, and transparency/observability.
Collaborate with engineering in the high-level design of Utility and ISO integration.
Identify and understand stakeholder needs, business requirements, and technical program requirements and translate them into specific and clearly documented functional requirements for the engineering team.
Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the energy industry.
Follow competitors and conduct capability analysis regularly.
Provide internal and customer training on how to use the different to Utility and ISO integration.
Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
Analyze key performance indicators, report on these indicators at a regular cadence.
Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
Facilitate the creation and maintenance of product documentation.
Foster a strong technical culture characterized by high-quality implementations, effective organizational communication, decisiveness, and speed, constructive conflict resolution, and a can-do mentality.
Establish effective and collaborative cross-functional working relationships with peers, developers, and operations teams.
Maintain Product Catalog with newly released Utility and ISO integration.
Required Experience:
Experience in secure data integration techniques and technologies
Familiarity with related technical standards
Ability to define product configurability requirements
Understanding of performance and scalability issues
Ability to articulate observability for operations
Hands on in product acceptance testing, configuration, and support
Desired Technical Experience:
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and microservices architecture
Experience with cloud technologies AWS preferred
Power user of JIRA, Confluence
Exposure to Aha! General Qualifications:
Extraordinary communication skills, and able to present on complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
Experience in high-quality companies known for excellence in engineering is highly desirable.
Intellectually curious: You want to dive deep into technical matters and can hold your own in discussions with engineers.
Decisiveness: You gather the data and make informed, critical decisions quickly.
Experience in full life cycle agile engineering practices ranging from concept, design, development, and QA to continuous release and maintenance.

Qualifications
3 years of product owner/ product manager experience
1-2 years of development experience
5 to 8 years of experience as a technical contributor and/or product manager working on energy systems and/or data ingestion management
