Work with engineering teams and cloud partners to ensure Databricks solutions are engineered for reliability, scalability, and security; Expand relationships with the largest cloud computing providers and build the foundations for the Databricks customer experience; Lead a cross-cloud program, set engineering goals and launch programs at scale. Detailed job duties include: Work with Databricks Engineering teams and with Azure, Amazon Cloud and Google Cloud engineering liaisons to ensure Databricks works on all clouds. Work with engineering to design and deploy features to grow our customer base or improve existing experiences; Work cross functional with all engineering teams to design, develop and deploy platforms to ensure Databricks is available globally for all customers in all countries; Build broad programs to track Databricks performance, reliability and stability to ensure customer satisfaction; Build tools, dashboards to measure and monitor key performance metrics for Databricks. This includes but not limited to performance, resource utilization, responsiveness of the platform and ability to onboard new customers without any problems; Report to a Technical Program Leader working across multiple time-zones, dealing with high levels of ambiguity, seeing around corners to identify blockers, and ensuring needs are balanced against technical requirements; Work with engineers across worldwide locations, to collaborate and make impactful changes to enhance and/or improve the product, including identifying the right engineering owners, defining timelines for delivery, tracking project status and risks; Engage with stakeholders to define and build project roadmaps, plans and timelines; Identify project risks and communicate to management and stakeholders. $163,571 - $175,000 per year. Minimum job requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related field and at least five years of experience. Will accept Master’s degree plus three years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience. Must have experience in the following areas: Experience defining projects, identifying risks, managing cost, coordinating scope, identifying dependencies, scheduling and deploying new products and features; Experience with large scale software and cloud native infrastructure; Experience with SQL and Jira. Must have knowledge of product development process (PDP) and lifecycle. May telecommute from any US location.
