The technical project manager is responsible for process improvement, governance, and execution of the design, product and technical build, support and maintenance of a key product or limited product portfolio related to risk and compliance, as well as the supporting technology capabilities and infrastructure that support that product in an Agile driven environment.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Works in collaboration with Chief of Staff and Director to develop strategy, plan, goals (outcomes) for their scope of business. Collaboration should extend to customer teams and groups, as well as close working teams within Technology Risk & Compliance (TRC)Team.
  • Responsible for internal development support related to risk and compliance process and design
  • Designs and develops methods and tools to measure team performance striking a balance between customer or technology-based innovation, quality, speed to market, Agile team velocity, cost.
  • Develops change management and communications plans, and executes or drives execution connected with internal change initiatives originated by direct leadership or P&T leadership.
  • Regularly provides review and guidance to UAR team on execution related responsibilities. This includes:
  • Controls structure and prioritization, process.
  • Works collaboratively with UAR Team to identify and eliminate waste in the process. When resolution requires influence beyond their level, drives structured upward communication and feedback to seek resolution.
  • Executes appropriate customer communication, response and support to identify, determine root cause, resolve production defects and issues, or other operational issues.
  • Helps communicate clear and measurable goals for team aligned to company, department, functional area objectives.
  • Fosters strong, collaborative relationships with customer and customer representative groups at all levels for self and UAR team.
  • Help define remediation/mitigation for internally and externally identified audit and compliance deficiencies and track remediation progress(link removed)>
  • Considerable experience with implementing a compliant DevOps framework
  • Subject matter expertise in the below areas to support business objectives:
    • Logical Access
    • Change Management
    • SDLC
    • Computer Operations
  • Assist in the management of IT processes, controls, testing and remediation.
  • Provide audit and regulatory guidance, support and subject matter expertise to the IT organization.
  • Work with control owners and operators to ensure quality, consistency and operability of new and existing controls.
  • Support the review of IT tools, control designs, and control remediation planning efforts.
  • Collaborate and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in a fast-paced and matrixed work environment.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with quality and in accordance with a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Produce detailed timelines for each assigned project and implement effective project controls by monitoring progress and reporting status.
  • Review test findings, facilitate the remediation of ITGC control gaps, and escalate possible critical issues to senior management within IT.
  • Validate and update SOX documentation as needed to ensure scope, testing, and remediation activities are accurate.

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience:

  • 6+ years' experience of technical project management experience (Required)
  • 1+ years of relevant Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM) experience in an agile software product development environment. (Strongly preferred)

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Agile Methodologies Proven success in delivering software with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools.
  • Pro-active, strategic approach to problem solving and controls execution.
  • Knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the area of SOX, PCAOB, and auditing standards(link removed)>
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, business and functional representatives, and vendors / consulting partners.
  • Ability to identify project impacting issues and work with control owners and various IT solution teams to develop and implement solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a demonstrated ability to approach technical and business solutions in a consultative manner.
  • Technical Writing Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences.
  • Agile Project Management Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools.
  • Collaboration Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest. (Required)
  • Technology Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives.
  • Communication: Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.
  • Business Analysis Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data.

  • Licenses and Certifications:
  • ServiceNow and/or Archer Certification (Preferred)
  • PMP (preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO) (Preferred)
  • Other Technical Certification Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) (Preferred)
  • At least 18 years of age
