LAC Federal is seeking a Technical Services Librarian to support a federal library in Albuquerque, NM. The Librarian will have primary responsibility for all document delivery and interlibrary loan. For Interlibrary Loans, the Librarian will provide borrowing and lending services in accordance with the National Interlibrary Loan Code. The Librarian is also responsible for processing all new acquisitions including serials check-in. As needed, the Librarian performs original or copy cataloging using RDA and MARC21 standards up to OCLC Level I cataloging. The Librarian supports the Program Manager in implementing the Collection Development Plan by recommending items for acquisition and/or withdrawal from the collection. Finally, the Librarian will be responsible for the ongoing basic maintenance and support of library systems including the Integrated Library System and other library hardware and software.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Library Science
• Minimum of one year experience in scientific and technical library performing library technical service duties
• Knowledge of and experience in bibliographic control and cataloging up to OCLC Level I
• Knowledge of library information systems including Integrated Library Systems
• Experience with describing and maintaining electronic resources
