Technical Support Engineer-SaaS (Orlando, FL)

We are looking for Technical Support Engineers for a large, global B2B high tech company. This role will focus on solving technical issues of system administrators for the client's enterprise SaaS solutions. This role will learn the client's solutions and effectively communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve customer issues. This includes developing subject matter expertise within the technical support department. The engineer is responsible for owning and resolving issues daily, technical cases created by customers seeking help to understand or resolve an unexpected behavior or answer technical questions

This is a 40 hour per week, 12-month contract (possibility of extensions) remote until Jan 2022 then onsite.at our client's office in Orlando, FL. Must be flexible to work weekend and holiday shifts as required, on occasion.

This is a W-2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Support engineers using the ServiceNow platform via an internal implementation of its tools to diagnose customer issues.
  • Debug JavaScript code as well as find better solutions to custom code.
  • Owning and resolving technical case issues created by customers seeking help to understand or resolve an unexpected behavior or answer technical questions about the ServiceNow software and platform.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in this customer facing role.
  • Leading investigation and resolving complex issues and escalations while demonstrating exceptional technical understanding, business process and customer needs in timely manner.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle)
  • 2+ years working experience with Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, and bootstrap and debugging JavaScript code.
  • Experience in one (or more) scripting languages- JavaScript is preferred. Python or Perl-plus
  • Advanced Unix/Linux experience
  • Ability to analyze java heap dumps as well as thread dumps
  • Working knowledge of the components in a web applications stack.
  • Experience providing support in a SaaS environment.
  • ServiceNow familiarity.
