Samsung SDS America is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support to our clients and resolve complex technical issues. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and experienced in multiple technology platforms and able to resolve complex customer situations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other dedicated IT Support personnel in an enterprise environment.

The team is working onsite in our office in Ridgefield Park, NJ. This role participates in on-call rotation and may have up to 10% of after-hour work.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide solution administration support for the Windows server systems in a multi-platform environment
  • Provide technical support between tier 2 and the systems/network team
  • Provide guidance on the utilization of the Windows Operating System to PC/OA Support
  • High-level troubleshooting techniques on AD, SCCM, Events, Systems, Application, and Security layers
  • Utilize server-side skills in Windows Updates, GPO management, PowerShell, Batch, and VBScript
  • Manage Samsung in-house security solution management
  • Provide on-site VIP Support for Executives including 20+ Corporate Executives from HQ
  • Extensive off-hour VIP Support and other urgent cases

Requirements

  • Associates Degree required; Bachelors degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Similar Field
  • 3+ years of experience in Corporate Desktop Support and 1+ years of experience in Corporate Systems Administration
  • Must have strong Korean & English speaking and writing skills
  • Experience in Global AD migration, Federation middle level
  • Experience with SCCM on Image deployment, SCEP, and Deployment on Windows, Mac, and Linux
  • Experience with Server Hardware, Storage, and backups technology
  • Must have PowerShell Script experience at Corporation Level
  • Ability to provide technical support in using the following Windows domain tools:
  • Active Directory Users and Computers
  • Active Directory Services
  • Domain Group Policy Experience
  • Domain Name System (DNS) Server
  • Ability to provide system administration support with the following Microsoft Server technologies: Windows Servers 2012/16/19
  • Must have on-site C-Level VIP support experience

Preferred Experience:

  • IT Support (Helpdesk or Desktop Support) experiences
  • Linux Experience is a plus
