Role: Technical Writer Audio/Video IV Location: NYC, NY Work Arrangement: Hybrid Interview Type: 2 Rounds Position Type: W2 contract (Direct hire) Note: Local profiles only! Required: - Need experience in technical writing and Audio/Video. - Will be writing Guides/user guides/technical transfer/User Manuals/installation guides/technical directions. - This is a MS Word/MS Suite heavy role. - Must have experience in UX/user friendly documentation. - MUST have excellent verbal and written communication skills. - They have built a new state of the art boardroom 1 step away from a broadcast studio MUST be familiar with this kind of environment-Similar to a TV studio. - Looking for someone with familiarity around WebEx/zoom/teams/audio platforms/NDI. - Will be working on Macros/ Production switchers/Audio Mixers/Extrons/Introns/Crestron programming, AV systems like Dante Audinate. - Must have experience in high end AV systems and conference centers. - Younger talent is OK (3+ years) Need to be technical and extremely professional/well spoken. - Would almost prefer someone who has bounced around/worked different places as they would have seen different scenarios more often. Required Skills/Experience: 1 - Technical writer. 2 - SOP writing. 3 - Defining User Stories, requirements, and user instructions. Preferred Skills/ Experience: 1 - Experience with high end AV systems. 2 - Experience in conference centers. 3 - Thorough understanding of backup procedures and DR. Education Requirement: - College. - Software Skills. - Testing. - Certifications.
