Technical Writer - Engineering (Temporary)
Location: Wilson, NC
Duration: 12 Months
What you will do:
Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and documents (SOPs)
Convert documents into the correct formats
Review workload/due dates and prioritize tasks
Review documents from other sites
Interact with coaches, mechanics, line leads, technology and quality group on daily basis
Conduct field walk-throughs to observe processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Determine the needs of users of process documentation
Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style and content
Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
Write and organize supporting content for production, lab or office processes
What you need:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related field
1-3 years of strong technical writing/documentation experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strongly preferred: Experience with Veeva QualityDocs
SAP experience
Strong attention to detail
Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
