For the Information Technology team, this is an exciting time of change. The group is evolving to be prepared for the future in a rapidly growing company. As such we are seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our team and bring Information Technology to the next level as a trusted strategic partner for the organization.

This position is for a passionate and innovative Technology Partner to join our team in support of our Central Functions. The Technology partner will work with HR, Finance, Legal and Compliance stakeholders to:



 



Identify potential process improvements and deliver technology to enable these improvement



Partner on projects and initiatives that will bring value to the organization



Identify technology opportunities for improvement



Understand the business processes they are supporting while understanding the technical solutions available now and in the future



Provide strategic vision and develop roadmaps for short term and long term planning identifying capabilities that can have the greatest impact on Central Functions.



Influence direction when appropriate to leverage best practices, standards and the strategy remains intact.



Responsible for developing strategic, collaborative, and trusted partnerships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.



Responsible for defining and delivering a portfolio of IT investments and their outcomes that optimize value and cost



Work with stakeholders to lead business process assessment, identify improvement opportunities, propose solutions with quantifiable benefits, and develop business cases to initiate projects



Build business cases for technology capabilities that meet near-term and long-term needs. Articulate business value and ROI, and define detailed requirements for those capabilities.



Collaborate with vendors and technical resources to monitor progress and ensure successful implementations in a timely manner

In conjunction with the Head of Information Technology and peers in Information Technology (IT) and other relevant stakeholders, provide leadership and direct the development and implementation of the identified projects and initiatives.



Have project and vendor management experience.



Strong analytical skills and ability to understand the business processes they are supporting while understanding the technical solutions available now and in the future.



Well organized, strong communication and interpersonal skills.



Ability to jump in at the most detailed level but also able to be a strategic partner.



Directs all phases of planning and accomplishment of the central functions systems.



Establishes, monitors and evaluates the performance of information systems in support of central functions IT accomplishments based on appropriate measures.



Work with the rest of IT to ensure cross functional collaboration.



The qualified candidate will possess the following:



Demonstrated experience working with Finance and Accounting, Legal, Pharmaceutical Compliance and Human Resources



5+ years of experience supporting Legal within IP, contracting, document retention, etc.



8+ years of strong experience with aspects of financial reporting cycle including development of annual business plan, financial projections, and ERP experience



5+ years of experience in an implemented Ariba environment that supports both finance and legal processes.



5+ year of experience with the HR needs of recruitment, performance management and the systems that can accompany HR processes.



Possess an understanding of Compliance in our industry and the possible platforms that can support the Compliance role both within the home office and within the field.



Proven track record of 10+ years working in programs within the Pharmaceutical/Biosciences industry



Experienced in leading change and a demonstrated ability to accomplish results and meet deadlines and commitments working in a fast-paced growing environment



Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership, with strong abilities in relationship management, and strong financial and analytical skills, as well as excellent business partnering skills required



Formal project management experience is a plus, including experience in estimating, cost/benefit analysis, and agile methodologies



Possess strong written and oral presentation skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical teams. Excellent collaboration skills; ability to organize and present ideas in a convincing and compelling manner that will deliver tangible business outcomes



Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business processes and to use structured problem solving and available tools to quickly evaluate problems, identify root cause, create action plans, assess impact and develop resolution options



Ability to effectively elicit complex business requirements in both small and large settings across audiences including business and IT professionals



Ability to build productive, trusted relationships and influence the scope and direction of initiatives across multiple levels of management and organizational boundaries



Bachelor’s degree or higher with a focus on Information Technology or Computer Science
