ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Other duties may be assigned.
- Take inbound or make outbound calls to prospective customers in designated market area to qualify leads and explain type of service or product offered.
- Communicate with current and prospective customers using a variety of computer and telecommunications technology/software to give information and answer questions regarding current promotions and new or upgraded products.
- Follow sales practices outlined by Training and/or SM to ensure proper level of quality and sales.
- Overcome objections with affective and appropriate rebuttals.
- Accurately quote prices and encourage customers to buy via effective sales techniques.
- Secure and place orders with others for filling and arrange delivery date.
- Accurately enter names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects solicited into computer database system.
- When appropriate, follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve of refer problems.
- Build strong relationships with Sales Manager, and team members.
- Be open and responsive to consistent coaching, take an active role in performance planning and goal setting.
- Act as a role model at all times, adhere to high ethical standards.
- Take responsibility and initiative to develop core skills and competencies by being involved in every facet of personal development.
- Be flexible in an environment by championing and embracing change.
- Follow all compliance guidelines and regulations regarding Customer Proprietary Network Information, Competitive Landscape Operating Requirements, Do Not Call legislation, and company policy regarding slamming, cramming and falsification of sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
KNOWLEDGE:
Basic computer operations including keyboarding, proper grammar and syntax, company policies and procedures as outlines in the Employee Handbook.
ABILITY:
Follow directions, communicate information to customers, read on-line scripts, enter information into computer program, close a sale, and learn new products and services.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be required. Exceptions to this requirement are as follows: High School Student Worker Program (documentation required).
LANGUAGE SKIILS:
Communication skills are required. Employees will need to have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Employees will need to be able to demonstrate their strong verbal skills in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Employees will need to show their ability to add, subtract, multiply, average, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
