Required Skills
5+ Years Teradata Utilities Experience
5+ years of SQL and ETL development
3+ Years SQL Assistant Experience
3+ Years Unix Shell Scripting Experience
3+ Years SQL and Performance Tuning
2 Years Teradata Version 16/17 Experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently
Experience mentoring co-workers
Tasks may include but not limited to:
Creating Data Warehouse BI applications including reporting, dashboards and other information analysis and delivery system
ETL and SQL development.
Working with developers and end users to design, develop and improve database queries.
Providing one-on-one support for developers and end users to assist them in accomplishing their data reporting needs.
Developing or acquiring test data and initiate tests to determine the accuracy of reporting logic to produce desired results.
Preferred but not Required Skills
Business Objects Report Development
Oracle (9i, 10g, 11g) Experience
Teradata Certifications
Teradata DBA experience
Experience with Child Welfare Services, Juvenile Justice, Juvenile services, or other related experience
